30 Years of the Theology of Religions Typology:

Retrospective and Future Prospects

A conference to celebrate 30 years since the publication of Alan Race’s classic Christians and Religious Pluralism

9th-10th September 2013, University of Winchester, UK

Professor Paul Knitter (Union Theological Seminary, USA)

Professor Marianne Moyaert (VU University Amsterdam)

Professor Gavin D’Costa (Bristol University, UK)

Rev Dr Alan Race

The conference welcomes papers on all aspects of interreligious and interfaith engagement, including the Theology of Religions, Comparative Theology and Interreligious Studies from any perspective.

A publication of selected papers and further contributions is under negotiation.

Please submit abstracts (max 300 words) and a short bio (max 100 words) by July 15th 2013.

The Conference will run from after lunch on Monday 9th to lunch time Tuesday 10th.

Costs: full conference with accommodation (afternoon tea + dinner Monday; morning coffee + lunch Tuesday): £110 (PG students, unwaged, developing countries: £100); full conference without accommodation £75 (£65); Monday only (afternoon tea) £25 (£15); Monday only (with dinner) £45 (£35); Tuesday only (morning coffee and lunch) £40 (£30).

Full payment with registration form to be made by 9th August 2013. (Anyone requiring a visa letter must make full payment before this is done, an administrative charge of £25 will also be required in advance).
